    I would not be holding dollars - the US is one huge debt bubble that is about to burst - the US is by far the largest economy in the world at current exchange rates but GM, Ford Chrysler are all but broke - its banks are all but broke - it's consumers are in debt up to there eyeballs - The US is running trillion dollar budget deficits, current account deficits etc etc

    and yet in this credit crisis it's currency booms - its the world's safe haven

    Now that is madness & the US dollar is in for a big fall.
    How long will the Chinese Japanese, Germans etc buy US debt.
    They must know the US dollar has to fall. And the longer we delay it the bigger the fall.

    It would be best if the world should try to manage this depreciation.

    In any case I predict in 10 years the world will be more dependent on Chinese spending than US spending (largely due to a significant currency realignment)
