    Hi Forrest

I am possibly in the same category minus the $2mill ,

after retiring early and not having the inclination or the knowledge to handle my own investments I passed this on to so called experts in financial advise and money managment,

After losing nearly $300k I am quickly becoming more astute ,

At this point in time I have no confidence in so called investment managers ,or directors ability to run companies be it blue chip or small cap ,

Now convinced that real estate is one of the most secure investment for retirees ,either commercial or in my case small flats rented to the middle income earner ,

Just enough rental return to live on and one to pay the management fees,

If I need extra money I will borrow against the equity and leave the property and mortgages to my children.
