the SDL forum really is a great place to get a microcosm of the retail investor, it is one of the great threads on HC, the best.....

we're all investors at heart, regardless of education or employment......we all invest our own money, we're all retail....some just more retail than others...

Squidd somes it up nicely......it will be interesting to see who has the stomach for this project, i can sure as hell guarantee you management of BHP and RIO will not being going to their respective boards seeking approval to outlay another 5b in western africa....not when they have brownfields options galore in a market where costs have cooled very rapidly (the pilbara)

I think someone will come to the party, thats why i think it's an interesting play, especially in the 8-9c range......i'd hazard a guess it will be a chinese consortium with infrastructure related dollars, dont think the dollars will be as staggering as some so called valuations (bigstar haha) will lead you to believe
