Hi NOWORRIES, they wouldn't I believe do a retrospective payment for dividends they would only pay current share holders. Must admit that is the real smart play for shareholders. From these current SP levels the reinstatement of the dividends is where shareholders will really clean up on CNP.
Not only because SP will surge again but the payment is % wise potentially huge. We will in my opinion see a big surge in SP on news of extension but can you imagine what would happen if they reinstated the dividend? And not just from a SP point of view but also from the point of view of the cash they are paying you. A real win win scenario.
