The hypocritical nature of the carbon tax is astounding.
Carbon dioxide is bad (hence the tax) and yet Julia sees a bright future with increased exports for coal.
Burning carbon is bad....yet we are going to subsidise people to burn carbon so thei behaviour doesnt have to alter
You will pay more to toast some bread, but you can drive your Pajero diesel polluting car all through the city without any more charges imposed on it.
The rest of the world is moving to tax carbon...no they are not, China is installing a new coal fired power station every week, Canada has rejected a tax on carbon in 08
If using carbon was truly bad Julia, why not just ban coal mining and export....????????
