    You make some valid points.
To question remuneration is not only valid - it is necessary.
Call it diligence and a critique based on results in direct relation to shareprice performance and continued sentiment concerns as evidenced by continued associate issues and the recent EIM comments re governance concerns.

These things just don't happen....they come about due to performance....or perception of performance.

Nathanblack touches on some key issues. The CEO is getting rewarded with his salary as is.
Comparisons to industry is fair enough when talking salary. Good people deserve to be paid accordingly.
The CEO deserves his salary obviously.

But to set out and take the position that remuneration (in the context of an incentive package) is looked upon as a comparative to the rest of the industry is ludicrous based on the results here.

PLV is not a buy. Its not a sell either imo. And its not these things due to very real concerns about how this company is perceived in some quarters, by the market and by many of its shareholders.
If its not a buy or a sell some might see that as a leadership issue..

That incentive package is far too generous based on the damage done and the fact that PAC call it at multiples of value where it is.
That indicates there is something not quite right or aligned here.

Much more needs to be done here where shareholders and the market can see it - much more.

Employees earn incentives - they are not supposed to handed out on a platter.

Sensitivity to the damage done here needs to be taken into account.

PLV is undervalued and is because of the almost unbelievable sequence of events that for the most part here, have certianly appeared like the company wasn't in control of them.

The market sees and senses that. Lets not reward recovery from these incredibly sold down levels.

Doubling the CEO's package at higher levels would be a better outcome imo for all concerned. I'd fully support that.
Just don't encourage average performance while you have a majority of shareholders still in the company who will/may resent that.

Lift the bar. Raise the standard.
