What the announcement doesn't tell you is that this license used to be an exclusive license in all but US and Korea, see ASX announcement when awarded in 2001. So if this has gone from exclusive to non exclusive this is not a good development. This is what happened with the Ford Europe license many years ago and the company has been in declining earnings ever since. Hyundai / Kia probably their highest earner.
Currency moving the right way, but the Hyundai development more than offsets unfortunately.
