I dont know that we will ever establish an economically viable export of hydrogen from Australia to be honest. It doesnt make sense. See even the Hydrogen Evangelists in Japan wont commit commercially long term to the Coal to H2 project in Victoria...deep down they know its expensive.
That's an absolute scam of the highest order. Millions of government funds poured into it.
Our future is to be situated besides biogas producers or along natural gas feeds into ammonia plants and steel mills. Transport a few hundred meters of gaseous H2 into the plants for direct chemical process uses.
