... and I paid up to 40c for mine, which I let expire in the end as nobody wanted to buy them off me when I put them up for sale at 1c near the end. However that's all water under the bridge now and I for one am feeling very optimistic about the position Hazer are finding themselves in with the growing momentum behind the hydrogen economy. We know the technology works, is scalable, and now Hazer are starting to secure meaningful government and industry support for commercialisation. So I think we're on the right track now despite the black eye received via the options.

Looking forward, not back, I would not be at all surprised if Hazer eventually gets taken over by an energy or transport major. If/when that happens, hopefully it would happen via through a competitive bidding process involving multiple suitors so that Hazer shareholders get the best possible price. I think there's at least a reasonable chance of this happening, given that the winner would secure the global rights to produce "green" hydrogen more cheaply than anyone else as well as producing saleable graphite and harvesting significant carbon abatement credits. Assuming that commercial-scale plants will in fact deliver the goods, that's quite a prize.
