Dont forget cash just like debit/visa costs the company money. They need to pay for armed gaurds to move the cash, safes to store it in, man hours to move it from the tills to the safe not to mention all the man hours that are spent making sure all the tills are balanced and full. Personally if not having cash reduces there expenditures than im happy. Pre covid i took a holiday to iceland for a week and didnt touch there currency once so i dont think its that big of a deal if we do it here.
