I’m Boycotting Woolworths totally, page-5

Think everyone here is missing the bigger picture in a COVID world. To put it simply - cash is dirty and germ laden.

There would be hardly anyone that wouldn’t have a card of some description they can use for transactions.

Woolworths know this will hurt them in the short term at stores that are trialing this but this is the new world and I congratulate them on providing a very effective way at dealing with the one thing that is passing through many possibly germy hands - cash! It protects the staff who touch probably hundreds of these things every day and to the customer who on receives them.

If you are in a predominantly cash paid job go to a bank - that’s one of the major reasons they exist...
