You're not the only one. In truth their focus on value or "out of favor" stocks has some historical basis to it, just look at the way value stocks outperformed growth stocks after the dot com crash.

But that was a long time ago, a very long time ago. They've been saying that the pendulum will swing back from growth to value for years now, and the opportunity cost to investors has been huge.

I used to hold some of their funds up till 2019, then I went along to the Annual road show presentation in Perth run by Clifford and Smolenski. It was a circus of a presentation and it made me very nervous and skeptical that these guys knew what they were doing. Sold out of all funds the next day. Never looked back.
