    I've had a month on 16/8 intermittent fasting.

    I skip breakfast & eat between noon & 8pm. I cut out bread, eat minimal pasta (mainly cos my Wife doesn't like it) & restrict chocolate & ice cream treats to Sunday only. We'd have a glass or two of wine with dinner most nights.

    Snacks between noon & 8pm are nuts, sultanas & seeds. "Breakfast" is 2 cups of black coffee.

    Lost 5kg in a month.

    The incentive - my 25 year old kilt was on the last button hole & extending the belt would be admitting defeat.

    (Yes, I'm feeling some hunger pangs now but hey, it's nearly 10am !)
