About 2 years ago, I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic.
Went to the chemist, and he said to me ," you'll be on these pills for the rest of your life "
I changed doctors, but without the new doctors help, I lost 20 kgs in 3 months.
No, booze, dropped the bread, and exercised ( walked for 45 mins each morning)
bought a push bike, no more meat pies ( Christ I love meat pies ), just fruit during the day now.
Funnily enough, the bread , was the hardest to give up.
I ggogled type 2 diabetes , in Glasgow, 92 percent of people that dropped 18 or more kgs, reversed their type 2 status.
I went back to the doc, after the blood results , and he said, " you have reversed you condition"
Had a huge Chrissy, did the bloods and the doc said, " your A one at Lloyds "
Weigh myself in the morning, even in the middle of the night ,and when I get home at night.
Still watch with fond memories when some one eats a meat pie in front of me.
