I seem to have dredged up a bucket load of anti-Adams here. Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned his communist association, which after all was only in his teenage years, as he frequently reminds his listeners. Of course he continues to tell us he is a leftie. What's that saying about "all the good that men do"? And he has done a lot of good to my mind, particularly with encouraging the Aussie film industry. I am a frequent listener to Philip, when he is talking about things that interest me, which is quite often. I can live with him being a leftie, as indeed we all should do unless we want to end up a divided society like the USA. And none of us, nor our icons is the fount of all knowledge
