"The proposed "Voice" would just be the opinion of a group of chosen individuals. They weren't going to be elected.". ..... I could retort with "how were these people to be "chosen"?"... but of course the truth was in the detailed policy released by the Labs pre-referendum: that each member of the Voice panel would be elected by the members of the Voice cohort in each region/locality.
