I know you need to go when the fish are feeding...early morning or late afternoon...and have the right bait...at Sorrento we used to almost catch the flat fish ?? with our hands at the waters edge near on dusk.... I dont like killing any animals... done a bit of fishing over the years at the Tathra Wharf, the Murray River and Lake Hume...always caught as many as we needed...never walked away empty handed....
