Interesting and valuable observation, Thommo. The fact is that most manipulation occurs on smaller volumes on markets, and if I were a big trader, I'd pick just such a set of days...the ones leading in and the holiday itself to nudge the price lower. Does anyone know what volumes have been like on the gold futures market? Have they been low, or lower than average? If so, then we are looking at an upwards correction from here. Pity it's Friday.
