Yes very good observation! Makes me feel a little better! On the hourly chart the fast has crossed the slow and is just about ready to trigger a buy on the 60 period stochastic. 14 period RSI has already triggered a buy. A move above $855 will do the trick! $855 has been repelled once this morning! Technically gold has been trending in an excellent down trend channel and bounced off the lower channel last night. It has for the entire down trend risen to the top of the channel either touching or falling away within $1 of the top. If the same occurs this time we could get a retracement back to $870ish. If $870 is taken out convincingly that would indicate the current steep down trend is changing.
