I suppose one down side of the political situation now here in Australia will be the effect of Saturday's election on the share market.
With losses on the Dow on Friday and the uncertainty created by the election, which markets hate, I can see some very heavy losses come Monday on the stock market here.
The only savior short term may be some rally overseas which may help to limit the inevitable sell off but the US economy is still weak so any rally overseas may be short lived.
