Unfortunately Coppertop LYC can't go into a Trading Halt, or go into Suspension, why because of the Mt Kellet Agreement.

You need to read this before considering a EGM

This is why we have not been in a trading halt. This was issued on the 24th of January 2012. Lyc Secures Long term funding Agreement. This is the Bond Agreement.

7.3 ASIC Class Order [CO 10/322]
For so long as any Convertible Bonds are outstanding, the Company must ensure that it is in a position to comply with the requirements of section 708A(12C) of the Corporations Act and ASIC Class Order [CO 10/322] including ensuring that the Shares remain continuously quoted on the ASX without suspension for more than five Trading Days in any 12 month period or otherwise issues a Cleansing Notice or obtains ASIC relief so that Conversion Shares can be immediately on-sold to retail investors following their issue.

They can't do a trading halt because they are for two or three days, and a suspension you can do it longer, HOWEVER THIS CLAUSE prevents them from going into suspension for more than 5 trading days over a 12 month period otherwise issues a cleansing Notice or obtains ASIC relief.

This is whilsts the bonds are outstanding. This is the situation.
