Rice will be on her soap box again no doubt trying to beef up the national security threat in the Strait of Hormuz, and Obama will be gloating about taking the primary. No major data out in the US tonight - Wholesale Inventories tomorrow (10/1) and trade and import data Friday (11/1) but nothing that is mood changing. Will probably just run on rumours and speculation for the next few days. US PPI and Retail Sales on 15/1 will be the one to watch IMO - should provide an answer to the "Feb 25 or 50" question.
