The Bali bombing was after Australia got involved in Afghanistan joining the religious nutter George W Bush,in a futile war that is still raging,and then Howard got sucked in to the Iraq mess. Prior to that,Australians could visit the Middle East and be welcomed, there was no talk of religion,no suspicion,no fear for ones life.Had we stayed completely out of these conflicts,Australia would be far safer place to live,a happier place. Cannon fodder,thats all we have been, I feel sad for the families that have been caught up in this madness. Defend Australia,yes,for sure,but not a misguided United States.
