harkers, I moved into rental property I had mid to late 90's with the aim of renovating and selling. Would have got $150k having paid $40K
Alas I didn't read Neil Jenman's prediction back then and didn't sell. Since then I have lived in that house vertically rent free and it's now worth nearly $600k.
I have use equity on the property to invest in shares, interest is tax deductible.
Now tell me I would have been better off selling and renting when?
