    A cautionary note:

I've been using iMacs for years. My first one died but I think it was preventable!!! My "office"is not a clean commercial environment, just a room with an open window, and I noticed that I could hear the cooling fan after a couple of years. Took no notice and it eventually became intermittent then died. We (son and I) pulled it apart and noticed that the very fine cooling fins on the processor were clogged with dust. Prolly he root cause of my probs.

So if you start hearing your fan, get the processor cleaned.

There are no screws visable on the case so to open it up you put a suction cup (I used my Tom-Tom mount) in the middle of the screen and pull. It is held in with small magnets. You may want to do this to clean the screen some-time.

The extra cost of the Mac can be recouped by the savings on virus protection subscriptions. LOL
