The Southern Gold Ltd (SAU) group has interest in 12,300 sq km of exploration licences and exploration licence applications in one of the world's richest uranium provinces, the Gawler Craton in South Australia.

Southern Gold has increased its control to 12,300 sq km of tenure on the Gawler Craton based on key geological models for uranium mineralisation. About 300 km of prospective palaeochannels and more than 50 gravity-based IOCGU targets are held within the 100% Southern Gold and Joint Venture tenure. The ground definition and drilling of palaeochannel and IOCGU targets are underway. Southern Gold’s strategy is to use the new concepts and modern technology to drive the portfolio towards success by creating a pipeline of continually improving exploration targets.
