People hold up science as if it's some god-given path towards the truth. It's an 'ok' tool - that's all that can be said for it. About a D+ if you wanted to grade it.
If science was as good as people claim, then there would be no argument over climate science, no argument over vaccination. The truth would be abundantly clear. If science was as good as people claim, medicine would have more than a tiny handful of cures. Medicine has got nuthin'.
