yes it is sad. But the buzzword is globilisation. The press also have their part to play only focus on the bad not the good. As a parent i always took the chance and had my kids play in parks and do what kids need to do. It still does happen it's just that parents are more careful and hey they are responsible for anything that goes wrong. Noone takes responsibility for their own actions anymore - it's always someone else's fault. Our politicians down to the ordinary everyday person. This world has become a very short term affair and I think that is highlighted by the American litiguous society where someone gets a coffee, burns themself and sues macdonalds for a cool million. What rot. Duh I didn't know it was hot.
