People with the info take the share price lower via smart accumulation, no news makes legitimate investors lose confidence and sell(or hit their conditional stop's). Those with prior knowledge of the news end up with a massive amount of shares at a much cheaper price, once the ann comes out they sell at a significantly inflated price.
Thats how I hope its working anyway.
