Good luck with your purchase Raks!

Wonder how many stocks on the ASX are pure or partial iron ore plays now? It's my fave sector.

Important point to note - be careful not to confuse DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) with Republic of Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) - two separate countries in Africa.

DMM'S Maloko Iron Ore project is in the Republic of Congo, which is a stable and democratic country. (The DRC has also had democratic elections recently, but has a higher risk rating, coming out of many years of war).

Another poster posted the risk rating for Rep of Congo the other day, seem to recall that there was no risk (whereas DRC is level 4) - stand to be corrected.
