When Abbott came in the forward estimates were $500 million debt from what Rudd spent during the GFC to keep the economy from collapsing and it was the same for Morrison government.

Even Chalmers after spruiking the billion dollars of debt before the last election was challenged on the ABC and had to back down and admitt that some of the debt was Labors and we did not have a billion dollars of debt,

But if you like don't let the facts, get in the way of a good yarn.
