If you wait long enough it will reach $100, it's almost inevitable at some point!
The question is did you buy BHP at $42.00 with just cash or did you borrow?
If I was sitting on BHP (which I was for a very long time until a few months ago) with cash & had more cash to meet the bottom as it continues to drop, I'd hold.
If I was at 50% margin or more, I'd reduce exposure ASAP.
As long as you have sufficient money to buy when better opportunities present (and I think they will), then I say hold, you won't find a much better story than BHP.
