The examples I'm referring too occurred a while ago and I can't be bothered digging them up as my rusty ol grey matter can't recall who posted them. As I mentioned in my last post they are rare though.

The dodgy data spikes you speak of on IG, have you ever been stopped out by them? If so then that's what I'm talking about.

Sounds like we agree on most of the other points though. The only other benefit I can think of to using actual markets is you aren't stuck using a MM's trading platform. But that's a whole other topic.
