Hi focused, yes very impressive, the way of the future no doubt at least for ship board defence and at the moment
you'd need something like the size of a ship to generate the power, at the moment I believe mobile land-based system is hampered by the generator size needed to tow around with it, however as we all know technology will eventually make it feasable, hopefully the window of time allows such tech as MST's to get up & running in the interim, not neccasrily in competition to laser systems
but as part of a suite of systems to choose from in various and suitable circumstances.
