No, I mean if you purchased options 18 months ago, then converted to FPO's, you only pay CGT & @ 50% @your tax rate.... Because you purchased the option with the intent of converting.
I'm not an accountant and I could be wrong, but I was talking to my step father and another finance guru about this very subject on MFFO optionshope this helps
