Yesterday I wanted to sell a large parcel of shares in the morning to put a trade on elsewhere. However my broker CMC didnt get the sale through. I waited 2 minutes and in that time I saw the trade I wanted LPD rise from 7.6c to 8.4c (the days high). Still my shares had not been sold, and I cancelled the sale becaue the opportunity for me to get in on the rise od LPD I believe had passed by. I had confirmation of the canellation. A minute later the shares were sold by CMC!
What to do? Shellshocked I contacted them later in the day. They told me I shouldve contacted them earlier, as the price moved up during the day. Initially they said they will not compensate now they said they will review and get back to me in 5 days.
I want my account back with the amount of shares I had before, as my account should have been because i cancelled the sale.
Any advice? Any experienced traders out there who have had similar problems, how did you resolve this?
