I believe this trial will only only involve 3-4 patients.
Trials for FDA approval will start within the next 3 months !
The amount of research and animal trials that this device has been through is a plus.
The people who's lives can/will be saved/prolonged by the technology of VCR's LVAD is mind boggling.
What we have here is a device that will take Mankind into an extended period of life ! ....This is the start of a new generation of robotic organs....
Only the very rich can afford heart transplants at the moment....The VCR LVAD cost approx...$70,000
Do the numbers...........
