well i guess if u look at it from say a battler who burrowed $300,000 @ 6%...
and were paying $400 pw off the loan
5 interest rises would make that now 7.25%...
so that $400 is now $485 pw.
An extra $85 per week out of pocket.
I dont see Howards / Costello's tax cuts equalling a savng of $85 per week??
