djzab, you say "glencore can't buy anymore shares". Would you please care to back that up with numbers? have they already reached their 3% quota? If not glencore, then who was buying today?

Can you also please explain how the falling AUD$ affects this equation. Most stock valuations of resource companies take this into consideration. Would it also be fair to say:
Lower AUD$ = stronger earnings = larger profit = dividends = higher sp ?

It was one of the best places to be yesterday and today. My charts are showing tweezers so from the perspective of price action past week, I'd say in the short to medium term it's a good place to be.
