walk alone has a very deep and memory for me..

As a silly young merchant seaman at the time of the beatles and gerry and the pacemakers , I spent a bit of time in Liverpool Dockland .

One incident comes to mind , my mate and I had made the aquantence of a couple of young lassies in one of the clubs that were sprouting up all over Liverpool at the time .

On theb way back to the ship in the taxi , with never walk alone playing on radio and sung by all in the cab , I succumbed to an upset stomach and deposited about ten pints of bitter down the outside of the cab .

I was then put on the pavement , miles from anywhere

My mate ? he went on in the taxi with the young lassies , had the time of his life.

Guess who walked Alone


Sorry to go off topic , but it is amazing the older you get , something triggers a memory .
