I had a boss with many tattoos... but they were all covered by a short sleeved shirt so they weren't common knowledge.
One day in the coffee room I came across an article in the paper on laser tattoo removal (it had just been developed) and an older staff member commented "horrible things... can't trust anyone who has tattoos" just as the boss walks in! She looks at him and he nods and agrees totally with her... she left happy and I could release the straight face I was struggling to hold!!!
PS: I don't have any tattoos... I've never found an image I liked enough or meant enough to me to have permanently applied. I did however see a dragon tattoo on a friends daughter recently... it is the best I have ever seen. The dragon is an elegantly simple line drawing in black... the flames coming out of it could be real flames. Simply amazing artwork!
