Safety in numbers and pressure not to miss the boat. That is my take on events today. I think it started with strong support at 2.05 and not a lot of resistance going up. Then everyone watches and gets on the band wagon (either to trade or LT). Only worry will be if the same ppl get bored tomorrow and sell back down to 2.15. Don't think so, but maybe.
On the other hand maybe someone has something definitive.
