Ridiculous IMO. The chances of being hijacked are greater than some nutter trying to abuse a child on a flight.

I was on a train just yesterday and a mother was with her daughter.... she was about ten or twelve. The young girl had no knowledge about how to sit 'like a lady' and the mother couldn't have cared. It was a pedo perving paradise.

I was most embarrassed and didn't know which way to look. I really wanted to have a word to the mother about how young girls should dress and sit. Her clothes were something you might find an eighteen year old wearing to a nightclub, quite provocative.
