And the left are equally as adept at playing the race card to silence opposition to immigration. And it seems the race card is being used in this article for that very purpose.

And Australia's immigration is well over 100,000 per year. As a proportion of the population our immigration is probably similar to Canada's if not higher. And as far as I can see there is not a white bias...if anything there seems to be strong bias towards Indians and Chinese judging from my local supermarkets and the resumes I am usally inundated with from recent migrants whenever advertising for staff. And if you have any doubts just have a look at the Department of Immigration's list of accountants (most of whom have very, very average and more often than not irrelevant experience and judging from the resumes on the site very, very average written English skills) and IT Specialists looking for jobs who have been approved for permanent residency. The vast majority are from India, China and South-east Asia.

Can't see how that is indicative of a country that is going to be sidelined as a white anomaly. Incidentally can someone tell me what the problem is with a majority white population? It doesn't seem to be hindering countries like Slovakia, Poland, Hungary as they are doing well in attracting large American, Western European and Asian businesses (eg Hyundai, Volkswagen, IBM) even with predominantly white populations. And as far as I am aware no-one is refusing to do business with China or Japan despite the lack of racial diversity in their populations.

"I do wonder what private thoughts and assumptions the next generation of Canadians would harbour about an Australia that has chosen, for whatever reasons, to remain overwhelmingly white," Canadian intellectual Gwynne Dyer said in Sydney this year. "

I would suggest Gwynne Dyer should get off her intellectual high horse and get into the real world and she might see that the reality is vastly different from her preconceptions. See my previous comments.
