So I f*ed up big time and have no idea what to do so am turning to see if there is anyone with any decent recommendations on how I can fix things (other than 'You're an idiot', because I have certainly realised that one).
So basically, on Monday I bought significantly more shares than I can afford on the idea that if it jumped on the news, I could sell them on Tuesday and get all the profit; alternatively, I thought that the results would come out at 10am (as with the other announcements) and I could quickly sell all and only take a small loss I could cover. Either, as we know well, everything went a bit shit and I basically have lost more than I can even afford to pay. I tried selling this morning to buy cheaper and try to trade a bit and reduce the amount payable, but after selling I found out Commsec have stopped me from putting in any buy orders.
So... anyone with any suggestions?
