I agree, it is not ideal trading conditions at the moment I.E I was going to go long the Dow for an Obama rally, and short gold. And look what happened. I don't trust myself, my charts or the market at the moment. I spent over 2 hours trading the eur/usd last night. Right on support it was, and even made the doji on the hourly which I was waiting for (at the previous 2 support points it made a doji before liftoff) 2 hours. Then all of sudden, bang. Straight through support including my stop. IMO volatility has risen sharply in the past few days. I wish we could chart unpredictability because I think right now it would be breaking out! So that's why only thinking safety first on safe stocks.
