Mr Market got all exuberant after Tesla Model 3 launch and poured money into any ASX lithium stock it could find. Traders saw the big spike and took profits.

We will be back on long term trends, because fundamentally nothing has changed. The long term demand for Lithium for EVs is huge. The near-term demand for Lithium is critical. Spodumene producers still have a window of opportunity to make $$$ before the 'big 3' ramp up brine production in South America.

The April 2016 spike is an anomaly.
