My youngest Rebel is 18 at the end of the month. A lot of her friends are also turning 18.. She has been ostracized as her older sister returned from Myanmar during the week and has to be in isolation.

So my youngest rebel has been dis-invited from some of her closest friends 18th parties.. she went to bed at 7pm very upset as her friends are partying .. One is next door to us. She saw her friends arriving to the party..

As a parent I understand the big picture. Its a learning curve but still hard to watch...
The older Rebel gave her time and $$ to help orphanages in Myanmar... She cant work for 2 weeks now.. But i applaud her for doing things for others.
In the rebel household, she has her own bathroom, has no direct contact, and wears gloves and mask if coming into common areas.

An adjustment for all of us, she eats her meals in her room alone. That in itself is difficult to be watching.

Very extreme times we live in...
