You are totally right about people like Joyce. The country does not need them. Bottom-line managerialists like him are destroying the social fabric of countries. It's death by a thousand cuts. They are increasing the steepness of the social gradient and the end game, for him and his ilk, will be death by sword.

It has happened over and over again through history. Now is no different. Unless people like him are replaced by wiser people who understand that social and enviromental capital are just as important as economic.
