Not sure how you would drive revenue growth in this sector to absorb a ballooning cost base. Whilst an intelligent post, people need to understand every business has to cut costs dramatically in this climate and buckle down for the economic shitestorm ahead. A sustainable business model needs to be able to reign in costs and minimize losses in bad times to survive and enable it to prosper in the good times. There isn't a lot of informed commentators calling for boom times ahead.

So you either want a democracy and a crudely deregulated marketplace or you'll end up with socialism, over-regulation and a nanny state that will enlarge itself to the point of insolvency ...

At the end of the day, air travel is too cheap and is a luxury not a need, consuming energy resources the world is fast running out of.
